Question 1 - Installation

Set up a course plan for users in a local area network that is planned for installing. The users are totally new to networks, but have some knowledge about free computers and the Windows milieu.

Make a course plan that shows which themes you want, and the duration of each theme.

Set up a Test plan that is supposed to be a part of the contract for the installation.

Question 2 - Placing of cables

If you should install a new local area network, what types of cables would you use? Feel free to use a network you know as a base if you have an available network.

Question 3 - Data communication

Why do you suppose there are limitations in the following?

Length of a segment
Number of segments connected with repeaters
Number of nodes on a segment

Question 4 - Differences for the normal user

Which differences would a normal user feel in the cross over from free computers to workstations in a local area network?
